Hello & Welcome

Hello & Welcome

My name is Steffie and I am here to help guide you towards living a life more closely aligned with nature with healthy and natural choices for your body, heart and mind.

I choose to go green, make it myself, be connected with nature, find the out-of-the-box solutions, and challenge the status quo because that feels natural to me. My foundation is firmly planted in the universe and within mother nature and I feel called to share her love, hope and healing with the world by helping you to find your balance in a way that feels natural to you.

My calling back to Nature

The Beginning of Nature's Balance

the

Team

Over the last 8 years I have been challenge to look at life through different eyes. A series of illnesses within my family, diagnosis' of my own, the loss of my loved ones,      and a long standing battle with anxiety.

For a long time I didn't know who I was, what I was supposed to be or where I was meant going until 3 years ago my anxiety reached a it's all time low. I was having several panic attacks a day to a point I couldn't leave the house. I was trapped, frightened and disattached from the world and had no idea where to turn. My fiance and family were the only people I let close but my face was firmly painted with my 'I'm fine' smile but there, surrounded by the ones that loved me, I still felt so alone.

I was introduced to a counsellor/hypnotherapist and during a session I was asked to envision my future me and whilst I could see my future my I could hear 'steady as the beating drum' from pocuhontus a film I hadn't seen since my childhood.

Steady as the beating drum

Singing to the cedar flute
Seasons go and seasons come
Bring the corn and bear the fruit

By the waters sweet and clean
Where the mighty sturgeon lives
Plant the squash and reap the bean
All the earth our mother gives

O Great Spirit, hear our song
Help us keep the ancient ways
Keep the sacred fire strong
Walk in balance all our days

I thought back to the hours I would spend sat in front of the tele watching that film in awe of her free spirit and remembered the sheer excitement I would feel at the thought of being able to connect with nature and having a grandmother tree. I then thought back to the days I spent with my own grandparents walking through the beautiful Devon countryside, spending afternoons cooking from scratch and evenings sat on the beach watching the sunset. It was then I realise I had to go back to nature to heal.

I began to eat clean and closer to the earth, found holistic therapy as a way to relax and rebalance my mind and began yoga to strengthen my body and connect with like minded people. I chose to work with essential oils as a natural solutions for my anxiety and in time my 'just in case' anxiety medication I carried around in my handbag was replaced with my 'I've got your back pack' filled with essential oils. I soon was looking for natural remedies to compliment my families healthcare and aid with minor ailments and found myself spending more and more time in the kitchen making salves, balms and ointments and skincare products. A wall in our townhouse kitchen became a herb garden where I grow healing plants for my natural remedies and day-to-day recipes and the products in our bathroom were replaced with natural chemical-free products.

Then one day I looked around and I realised how far I had come, how much better I felt and how much stronger was. My families health and lifestyle was improving and my once reluctant fiancee was thanking me for the changes we had made at home and now people were coming to me for advice on how to support their health naturally.

My view of life, health, joy, relationships, parenting and purpose has changed through my trials. Everything has become more rich and precious. I'm happier in my relationship than ever before, more satisfied with life, more content and at peace - I'm all about loving myself, treasuring my body, healing hearts and living with purpose. I feel it's my calling to guide others to find their own natural balance and strongly believe that with support and education we can all make the changes that are vital to our health and well-being.

I am an advocate for natural wellness and passionate about sharing my experiences, the knowledge of what I've learnt and the ... i still continue to learn.

My calling back to Nature

Over the last 8 years I have been challenged to look at life through different eyes. Like during a series of illnesses within my family, diagnosis' of my own, caring for my grandparents, the loss of my loved ones and a long standing battle with anxiety.

I was introduced to a counsellor/hypnotherapist and during a session I was asked to envision the future me and whilst I could see the future me stood, content in a beautiful field next to my fiance with our dogs running free around us and children playing in the distance the soundtrack to my vision was 'steady as the beating drum' the opening song from pocuhontus a film I hadn't seen since my childhood.

The Beginning of Nature's Balance

During my journey back to nature I met some incredible people that have inspired my passion for holistic health and complementary therapies and so my family encouraged me to pursue my 'calling'.

I quickly began to study Holistic Health coaching

My mum, Carol, found relief from her fibromyalgia and the deeply relaxing benefits that holistic therapies could offer and wanted to be able to share these therapies with others so my mum to was inspired to begin her own journey of natural healing. Together we we became qualified Reiki Seichem practitioners & holistic therapists offering our treatments and therapies from a sanctuary at the bottom of my mums garden.

am Steffie - Nature Loving... and owner of Nature's Balance.

Nature's Balance has evolved from my own life experiences. I came to holistic treatments and natural living 5 years ago as a way to heal both physically and emotionally. During my journey I welcomed in my family who themselves much needed to heal as well. Very soon we all discovered a lifestyle... a lifestyle that felt natural to us and a lifestyle that was not only healing us but enhancing our health and well-being.

On our journey we met some incredible people that inspired our passion of natural living & complementary therapies and guided us to find the tools we each individually needed to become qualified in order to help others the way we have been helped.

We are so excited to share the knowledge and techniques we have learned with you to guide you to find your balance and promote your well-being  in a way that feels natural to you too.

Caring for our planet, just like caring for ourselves, should be an intentional daily act.

Eat close to the earth. Minimize consumption. Recycle. Go natural when you have a choice. Love your body.  Love the earth.

We are connected to the earth.

The native Indians lived in harmony with the earth.  They revered and honored living creatures.  They were aware of circadian rhythms and the changes of the seasons and they adapted.  They felt the spirit of the earth

A family journey

Nature's Balance is a family business which has evolved from our family's own life experiences. We ourselves came to holistic therapy looking for a natural way to heal and space to relax. We each discovered the benefits of holistic therapies and immediately felt the positive effects of taking the time out of our hectic schedules to incorporate self care into our lives.

On our journey we met some incredible people that inspired our passion of complimentary therapies and guided us to find the tools we each individually needed to become qualified in order to help others the way we have been helped.

We are so excited to share the knowledge and techniques we have learned with you to guide you to find your balance and promote your well-being  in a way that feels natural to you.

To help you to achieve this we offer our therapies, our sanctuary and ourselves to give you the space, time and techniques to enable you to live your life with renewed energy, calmness and well-being.

We welcome you to the Nature's Balance family and are looking forward to seeing you very soon
